The 5th Australian Secondary School Exhibition will be held in Bangkok on July 2. Set up at the Dusit Thani Hotel opposite Lumpini Park, admission is free.

Students and their parents are welcome to check out what 24 top private secondary schools in Australia have to offer at the event, which runs from 11am to 4pm, with a ****tail party included.
CETA Worldwide Education, Thailand's only Australian secondary school specialists, and Australian Education Assessment Services (AEAS) will jointly hold the event.

The schools represented are some of Australia's best private institutions. They include co-educational day and boarding schools, girls-only schools, boys-only schools, IB and foundation study schools. These institutes are located in Melbourne, Geelong, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide.

Currently, there are about 27,000 Thai students in Australia while the number of Thai students enrolled at secondary schools in Australia is approximately 600.

The exhibition is conducted in a casual ****tail format, allowing parents and students to visit the booths and to spend quality time to talk to Australian representatives from each school, to obtain the most relevant information.

They will be shown various materials, including DVDs from schools, yearbooks and curriculum handbooks. Some of the Thai students who are currently studying at these schools, along with their parents, will also be at the exhibition to answer any queries that visitors may have regarding studying in Australia.

Parents and students will have the opportunity to meet with CETA managing directors, Andrew and Tracey Gray, along with CETA Thai Education counsellors and language translators, who will provide facilitation and answer queries.

AEAS managing director Tracey O'Halloran from Melbourne will also be able to advise parents of assessment requirements for entry into top private schools represented at the exhibition.

A special seminar conducted by Austrade through the Australian Embassy, titled, "What parents can expect for your child to study in Australia" will be held at 2pm.
