   สถาบันสอนภาษามิลเนอร์จัดตั้งขึ้นในปี 1984 เป็นสถาบันสอนภาษาอังกฤษ (ELICOS) ที่สบความสำเร็จมากที่สุดในออสเตรเลียและเก่าแก่ที่สุดของเมือง Perth มีอาคารเรียนอยู่ใจกลางเมือง อาจารย์ผู้สอนทุกคนล้วนมีประสบการณ์ทางวิชาชีพจากมหาวิทยาลัย Cambridge เหมาะสำหรับผู้เรียนที่มีตั้งแต่พื้นฐานเริ่มต้นจนถึงขั้นสูง รวมถึงผู้ที่ต้องการเรียนคอร์สการสอนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ที่ต้องการที่จะเป็นอาจารย์หรือเรียนไว้เป็นประสบการณ์
 
Milner International College of English was established in 1984 and since then we have become one of Australia's most successful colleges and oldest colleges and oldest college in Perth,with qualified teahers from Cambridge University.Both for learners of English at all levels from Beginners to Advanced, and also for Teacher Training courses.

          Students graduate from Milner college ,can directly entrance to Stering College in English for Business and Management ,marketting,Conversation for Information Technology and Tourism programme.Australia's universities accept students from Sterling college, otherwise there is Milner School of english in Wimbledon of England also.

           นักเรียนที่นี่จะเข้าเรียน 25 ชั่วโมงต่อสัปดาห์(วันจันทร์ถึงศุกร์)เวลา 08.45 – 15.00 น.หรือ 09.00-15.15 น. แบ่งเป็นภาคเช้าเรียนเกี่ยวกับไวยากรณ์และภาคบ่ายการสนทนา(ทุกวันศุกร์-กิจกรรม) ทุกหลักสูตรเริ่มเรียนทุกวันจันทร์ ต้องเรียนอย่างน้อย 2 สัปดาห์ขึ้นไปสถาบันเปิดสอนหลักสูตรทั่วไปแบบเข้มข้น (Intensive General English) ใน 10 ระดับ คือ Beginners, Foundation, Pre-Elementary, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Post-Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate( Pre-Advanced and Advance จะเป็นของCambridge ซึ่งต้องทำการทดสอบและเสียค่าใช้จ่ายเพิ่มเติม) รวมทั้ง IELTS ในช่วงเดือนตุลาคมและพฤศจิกายนจะเป็นช่วงที่มีนักเรียนมากที่สุด ประมาณ 200-350 คน ทางสถาบันฯ จะทำการทดสอบความสามารถทางด้าน ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อจัดระดับการเรียนให้เหมาะสมสำหรับแต่ละคน สำหรับนักเรียนใหม่ในวันแรกควรที่จะมาประมาณ 7.45-08.00 am.เพื่อเตรียมพร้อมทำแบบทดสอบการเขียนและการพูดก่อนเข้าชั้นเรียน 
 
สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก
  • มีคอมพิวเตอร์ไว้ให้บริการมากมายจำนวน 2 ห้อง พร้อมทั้งฟรีอินเทอร์เน็ต สำหรับใครที่นำคอมพิวเตอร์ส่วนตัวไปสามารถขอรหัสผ่านได้ที่ห้องทะเบียนชั้น1
  • ห้องปฏิบัติการทางภาษา
  • ห้องสมุดเปิดเฉพาะช่วงพัก หรือตามตารางหน้าห้องสมุดค่ะ
  • ร้านกาแฟ เจ้าของร้านชื่อคุณ เทอร์คาน มาจากตุรกี บริการดีและอาหารอร่อยค่ะ นักเรียนทุกคนส่วนมากจะคุ้นเคยกับร้านกาแฟนี้ดี มีทั้งอาหารตะวันออก ตะวันตก และเครื่องดื่ม วันไหนที่ฝนตกหนักๆหรือเวลาพักเบรค เด็กนักเรียนก็จะมารวมตัวกันที่ร้านกาแฟจิบชากาแฟกับแซนวิสกัน
  • ฟิตเนส นักเริยนของมิลเนอร์ได้สิทธิ์พิเศษใช้บริการของฟิตเนส เฟิร์ส โดยไม่เสียค่าบริกากใดๆทั้งสิ้น เพียงทว่า ต้องไปรับบัตรฟิตเนสที่ห้องทะเบียนทุกกลางวัน และอย่าลืมนำผ้าขนหนูกับชุดออกกำลังกายไปนะคะ เพราะครูฝึกฟรีค่ะ
 
              Milner's students study 25 hours per a week(Mon-Fri)time: 08.45 – 15.00 pm. or 09.00-15.15 pm. it's depend on class and teacher. Ther are grammar class in the morning and conversation class in the afternoon(Fridaily afterrnoon-activities) Every programme will start on Monday, students mostly enroll over 4 weeks.Ther are 10 levels for Intensive General English of Milner's if you would like to study in English in Pre-Advanced and advance,you have to do Pre-test of Cambridge and pay more. IELTS suits someone who suppose to study in the University or something else but you need to be in Intermediate level to Advanced.If you are new student ,you should come on Monday earlier around 7.45-8.00am for the test(writting and speaking) It's  not easy and not difficult.Don't foget your pens,copy passport,copy visa and a passport size photograph for the first day.
 
 facilities

 -  There are 2 computer rooms with free Internet. If you bring your own labtop to school you can ask for ID and password at reception for free.
 -  Lab
 -  Libraly is open by table time or at noon.
 -  Cafe Ground floor   Turkan is owner of this cafe and restaurant,from Turkey. She is very friendly with everyone..good service and   good food.She is known by everyone.Ther are western food,Eastern food and drinks.Especially, It's rainning everyone will be there like a big venue....and I love her apple tart! Yummy ^_^
 -  Fitness  Milner' students use Fitness First's service for free but you have to get the ticket at the reception at noon ,also it's free for trainning with professional trainer if you have a towel.

I agree with you, Milner is a very good school for learning English. There are other ways as well to improve your English, such as mixing with people in a friendly sporting environment. Come to the Loy Krathong Festival in Perth where I'll be having petanque as an attraction, "The Princess Mother's Game" or Subiaco on a Friday night. visit http://www.juniorpetanque.org.au/ for more information.
