Bob is speaks very highly of his beloved "Skal" family, not just the business but of the fellowship having been at the helm for his 2nd year as President Skal International Bangkok for the period 2010/11. This is my 2nd tenure as President
Bob's loyalty and connection with SKAL is unquestioned having served on various Skal Boards as a Director for the past 12 years, including Skal International Asian Area Board for the last 6 years. Formalities aside and with Bob's magnetic charm it was a seamless process to meet and exchange discussion with other members.

We met Khun Tim (Aussie) the week before at the highly popular AustCham Sundowner in Bangkok and from there the opportunity was extended to be part of today's event.
Success will never be.. until preparedness and opportunity meet
I was a little hesitant accepting, we were on a busy schedule and the presenters topic "3G" is kind of "old hat" (we have been using the 3G mobile thingo so some time now) so I could not see much point but Tim was enthusiastic and staying positive can generate opportunities (Thanks Billy).
When it came time for the presentation "3G" I assumed the obvious but that was most in accurate .. what's the about "never assume" ....
Significant benefits from this Presentation.
The material was highly information, factual and a presented with confident and enthusiasm. It was one of those situations where you started scrambling for pen and paper to code the treasures. I did not have a pen and can't type that fast on my "3G" mobile so I started taking photos of the slide show a little embarrassing but when you know it's good stuff! Bad news .. my photos are our of focus .. good news the Adrew (the speaker) kindly offered me a PDF version.
I heard I highly recommend you invest your precious time to understand how to protect your business Asset; your G spots! With Andrew's permission we have uploaded a copy of the PPS (in PDF format) to our website at this link if there is a access delay go directly to the webpage and browse the list of items.

We worked our way around a few light ales as we updated our intel on a few water holes around town.
We all managed to share revalations... I explained the origins of the cat of 9 tails and Tim taught me an invaluable lesson about Transport codes on ships and the other lads oozed knowledge of people and places.

Tim and Bob are great ambassadors for their club and I thank Arun and Uzi for their humour and good company.
Albeit there's a great social culture to tourism it does require a balance! As in appearance your enjoying all that it offers, in the character role of a customer but at the same time your analytical, assessing risk and benefit for a customer.
