Some said it was too much old style with tradition and not enough modern style with lots of water fights and all that which attracts tourists to Thailand, but what attracts the tourists ?

is it the Traditional or Modern Culture of Songkran   

The modern culture of a lot a lot of drinking and water fights does not work well in other countries because of laws and more importantly people's attitudes towards having fun and not let the alcohol turnr them from beinng marry to monsters ...  what a wonderful world if we could all click with the concept of sanook/sanuk
