I roadtested this in late 2013, it really is quite a fantastic device.

I can watch live TV / Cable TV thru the net of whatever is playing on my system at home.  They call it "place shift" technology, the ability to be in a different place.


We tested a Slingbox "single" and a Slingbox "Pro"  (includes HD) and now in Jan 2014 we bought a Slingbox 350

 one (1) of payment to buy the device and that's it, the only ongoing cost is internet use

How to do it 

You need to buy a slingbox and instal to your Tv / cable in Aus (host country), if you don't have a host then you need to do a deal with someone that has it.

Remember, when connected with Slingbox its always single mode so there can only 1 viewer at a time, it's either you or the person at the host location controlling the channels.
