Bangkok Prep announces A level Scholarship programme valued at up to Baht 3 million
High achieving students invited to win partial and full scholarships
for placement in August 2014
Bangkok International Preparatory and Secondary School (Bangkok Prep) is pleased to announce an A level scholarship scheme for students with outstanding achievement for entry to Year 12 in August 2014.
The programme of study at Bangkok Prep is based on the National Curriculum of England, offering a quality education to pupils from Nursery to Year 13. Bangkok Prep offers a rigorous IGCSE programme to Year 10 and 11 students as a precursor to the Cambridge-approved A levels available for study in Years 12 and 13, thereby preparing students for admission to leading universities throughout the world.
The scholarship is open to students of all nationalities aged 16 years with outstanding achievement in academic studies. A total of 3 scholarships will be given, with a total combined value of up to Baht 3 million for the 2 years duration.
In addition to meeting the above requirements, students must possess skills and abilities to contribute positively to the secondary school community.
Students are required to complete an application form along with a 300-word essay and submit current school reports, letters of recommendation, certificates of achievements and other relevant documents. Only short-listed students will be contacted to appear for online testing, written assignments and interview. The successful candidate must remain enrolled for 2 years, until Year 13. This is mandatory. For scholarships or partial scholarships with 1 year tenure, the renewal will be dependent upon ongoing successful academic achievement.
The deadline for application is January 24th 2014, and the successful scholarship placements will be announced on March 30th 2014.
