InterSystems Appoints Viney Hora as Thailand Country Manager

Senior Information Technology Professional Brings 13 Years IT Management Experience

BANGKOK, Thailand – May 10th, 2011 – InterSystems Corporation today announced that it has appointed Viney Hora to the position of Country Manager, Thailand.

Mr. Hora is responsible for managing and growing InterSystems’ business in Thailand. This includes servicing existing customers– including Bangkok Dusit Medical Services and Vejthani Hospital – and adding new customers for InterSystems’ healthcare applications. Mr. Hora will also be seeking leading application providers in Thailand interested in embedding the high performance and reliability of InterSystems' advanced technology in their own products.

The hiring of Mr. Hora is part of a larger investment strategy that includes the hiring of additional local implementation and support personnel to be based in the InterSystems Bangkok office.

Mr. Hora’s key focus is to deliver connected healthcare solutions to Thailand’s leading healthcare organizations, giving healthcare professionals access to the information needed to increase the quality of care while reducing costs.

These solutions include the InterSystems TrakCare? Web-based healthcare information system that rapidly delivers the benefits of an Electronic Patient Record, the InterSystems Ensemble? seamless integration platform, and the InterSystems HealthShare? platform that enables the fastest creation of an Electronic Health Record for regional or national health information exchange.

Mr. Hora reports to Australia-based Stan Capp, Regional Director, Asia Pacific Middle East and India for InterSystems. “With his extensive systems implementation experience and consulting background, Viney Hora will ensure that InterSystems’ customers and partners are getting the maximum value from the software investments they have made,” said Prof. Capp.

Based in InterSystems’ Bangkok offices, Mr. Hora is a Thai citizen with over 13 years of local and international experience managing the design, development and implementation of information systems. Before joining InterSystems, he was a Senior Manager for Deloitte Consulting Southeast Asia. Previously, he founded and was Managing Director of his own IT consulting business focused on delivering Web-based and e-Learning applications, and SAP implementation support and training.

Mr. Hora has a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University in the United States.
