Everyday we receive requests for help on Visa issues we have invested many hundreds of hours but "the doors of dept are very much "CLOSED" .
In fairness when we have visited depts in Person (made personal contact) the response has been reasonably good.
DEPT OF IMMIGRATION PERTH WA We visited several times the people (officers and staff0 have been extremely helpful
but you will mosty likely have to deal with the Aust Embassy Bangkok and that's where the problems really start
The embassy suggests that approve 80% of application - our evidence (and experience) is they reject about 85%, they process contradicts their procedures and they are highly defensive to being questions or queried.
We have asked for guidance including names of volume visa agents so we can help people - they wish to give comment re guidance (other than read the rules (which they contradict) and decline to offer names of any visa agents siting some garbage about "privacy laws. They mentioned (reluctantly) that Tourism Australia have a list of Thai Tourism Agents - we tried it and it was a dead end - we reported it to the depts and no one replied?
The ongoing saga of visa obstacles is so sunbtantial we created a special section in the forum
