Phuket: Patong beach - Safari Hotel - don't tell anyone I told you ok!

The location (can't get any better) ...
on the main beach Road, metres from the key tourist features of Patong Beach
The Beach, Resturants and Bangla Road

The Location (see map below) is 100 mtrs to the left of Bangla Road so you don't have to walk to far to visit the Aussie Bar Patong (worlds best (biggest) aussie bar in Thailand).

Best Features:
It's Thai - that's what you should be doing when you go to Thailand (when in Rome...)
Swimming pool - medium size - adequate
Roadside Bar - watch the world go by
just metres from the Beach and Bangla Road
Boasts 4 Restaurants; in particular,
        The Savoey (Seafood)
The Beachcove (on the Beach) .. step onto the beach - great for breakfast lunch or dinner
Low price yet good quality
It does not feel like a Hotel  - typically the medium and smaller boutique venues offer a different culture - less staff, less customers so you make friends - it's homie
Free wifi

Khun Phanit in reception. Her English is better then most farang (that's foreigners .. see more) and she and her team do a great job.

Khun Phanit is wearing her Auswathai Badge..
Auswathai supporters are special

Picture below: Khun Supit Supervisor of Savoey Restaurant with Auswathai team member khun Spindle (aka Tony see more about Tony in Phuket).

Khun Supit is a kind well wishing gentlemen, his culture is shared by all staff we can;t wait to go back again and again

The secret treasure is the Beach wing rooms. They have about 6 rooms above the Beachcove Restaurant (across the road on the Beach). The rooms are like private apartment rooms, very private and ofcourse right on the Beach. From the room walk down the stairs and relax in the indoor/outdoor caf'e resturant or step on the beach.

Thai Style!
one of the endearing features of thai is the genuine kinship, please take the opportunity to introduce yourself to the staff. The Safari Hotel has built a strong loyal following of customers, try and you will see for yourself!

Check out the pics below, then check out the website, tell them we sent you.. We might get a free beer tomorrow!

I agree with the Auswathai executive, Safari Beach Hotel is great! We have stayed on several occasions and have been very happy with all aspects of the hotel. The location, staff, adjoining rooms for our boys, pool area, intimate cabana area for pre dinner drinks, restaurants and over all service. Khun Supit is an excellent manager in the Savoey Restaurant and looked after all our requests for us. We had a birthday and a cake was organised, a large table close to the band for our entertainment and of course excellent dinner service by him and his staff! Being so close to the beach and Bangla Road nightlife is wonderful. Would definitely stay again in the future!
