The original ... Aussie Bar.   Whilst the bar is "sports" bar it has a "boys" only atmosphere, the ladies are most welcome (the bar has Thai waitresses).

 location...  Soi 7/1 at the base of BTS Nana,
BTS is the skytrain station and Nana is the station location.. details of the sky train system including maps are shown in the link below.

Soi 7/1 (soi 7/1 in thai is Soi JET Tap NEUNG)

from the BTS (before exiting) look down either side until you see the Sub-way (food franchise) which is on the corner of Soi 7/1. When you can see it you will be on the correct side of the BTS to exit (exit the wrong side down to the road and its a long walk back up and over the main road (main road = Sukhumvit)

If you can see the sub-way shop from the BTS station you will also be able to see the Downunder Neon sign which is about 150mtrs into the soi on the left hand side.

Enter the Soi, walk about 150mts down and you will see the neon sign on the left and on the verandah will be a large Kangaroo (carved from wood), you have arrived, welcome mate!
