Starting a business in Thailand will require you to find at least two Thai people who will enter into the company with you. One of hese people will have to hold the "head" shares in a Limited Partnership, or you will ave to find 7 others to be in a Co. Ltd.
Either way, you personally can't hold the controling interest.
The law is set up so that foreigners can't own Thailand, or at least this is the theory behind their business ownership and partnership laws.
